WORS Banquet

Had a good time riding with shoe, my dad and Ted Hanes at Standing rocks in the afternoon. Then in the evening we celebrated the end of the WORS season at the banquet.  I didn't get a plaque for 4th place in my age group but I can't complain cause I won this sweet set of Park Tools and a repair stand!

Madison Dual Sport

Keeping things fun in the off season and mixing it up a with a enduro ride in Madison this weekend. 120 miles of single track "hero sections", fields, dirt roads, private property and some black top roads. Its a little different doing 120 miles with a 450 cc engine to help you, but its still alot of work keeping it upright.

The little bit of rain that they got in the morning made everything a muddy mess, which actually made it funner. Power sliding into every corner and roosting the guys behind you isnt something that you really can do on a mountain bike. Flying through the hero sections on a dirt bike at high speeds is pretty similar to a mountain bike except the front brake on a mtb is the clutch and the back brake is the front brake, you get used to it pretty fast.

My Specialized Sworks is going feel even lighter than normal after this ride.

Twin Six obsession?

These are the tags that come on every piece of TWINSIX gear that you can buy. I've been collecting for a while... they make great coasters.

Wors #12 and Season Wrap up

The Wigwam MTB Challenge in Sheboygan Wisconsin was a great weekend, the weather was perfect and my S-Works 29er was ready to race.

The pre ride with the Adventure 212 team was a lot of fun, its really cool to ride the course the day before with the PROS.

The course was is great condition, perfect for railing the corners and getting traction up the Equalizer, which I made all 5 laps.

I went out really fast, almost to fast... I wasn't feeling 100% for this race. Scott Cole (my role model and coach) pushed himself the first lap after having a rough start, and caught up to me. We rode together the next three laps, he wasn't feeling 100 percent either. He said "how are you feeling" me "not good" so he said that we could have fun, ride and enjoy the day. I was thinking to myself this is a FAST ride. It was fun tho!

We eventually got spit up on the fifth lap and I rolled through the finish 1 minute behind him. I was toast...

Although it wasn't my best race as far as placing, it was one of the funnest. Thanks to Scott, Performa and Specialized for all of your help this year.
